Volunteer registration now open for the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational

LPGA team event needs more than 1,000 volunteers for upcoming tournament July 17-22

MIDLAND, Mich. – April 12, 2023 – Tournament officials announced today that volunteer registration is now open for the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational. Scheduled for July 17-22, The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) team event is seeking more than 1,000 volunteers for the upcoming tournament at Midland Country Club.

“We are incredibly proud and appreciative of the support we receive from more than 1,000 volunteers. It’s through their support that we’re able to host a world-class LPGA event,” said Dow GLBI Executive Director Carlos Padilla II. “Volunteering for the Dow GLBI is a great opportunity to get involved with the community while contributing to a fantastic and unique team-style golf tournament.”

For a $45 registration fee, a Dow GLBI volunteer package includes:

· Two tournament branded golf shirts

· A choice of a visor or hat

· Weekly grounds access with a volunteer badge to the tournament grounds

· Two additional complimentary weekly grounds passes for family and/or friends

· Meals provided during volunteer shifts

· An invitation for two to the Volunteer Appreciation Party following the tournament

During the registration process, volunteers will have the opportunity to select their committee and shift times. It is preferred that volunteers work three shifts in a single committee. Some of the available committees include Hospitality, Marshals, Junior Clinic and Sustainability Green Team.
