Volunteer registration now open for the 2024 Dow Championship

LPGA team event requires over 1,000 volunteers for the upcoming tournament scheduled for June 24-30

MIDLAND, Mich. – March 14, 2024 – Tournament officials announced today that volunteer registration is now open for the 2024 Dow Championship. Set to take place June 24-30, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) team event aims to enlist over 1,000 volunteers for the upcoming tournament at Midland Country Club.

"We extend our gratitude to our dedicated volunteer team whose unwavering support makes the Dow Championship a world-class LPGA event,” said Carlos Padilla II, the Dow Championship Executive Director. “Joining the Dow Championship as a volunteer is not just a chance to be part of an exceptional golf tournament but also an opportunity to enrich our community together."

For a $45 registration fee, the Dow Championship volunteer package includes:

  • Two (2) tournament branded golf shirts

  • A choice of a visor or hat

  • Weekly grounds access with a volunteer badge to the tournament grounds

  • Two additional complimentary weekly grounds passes for family and/or friends

  • Meals provided during volunteer shifts

  • An invitation for two to the Volunteer Appreciation Party following the tournament

As part of the registration process, volunteers are able to select their committee and shift times. It is recommended that volunteers commit to three shifts within a single committee. Various committees, such as Hospitality, Marshals, Junior Clinic, and Sustainability Green Team, are available for selection and not all committees require golf knowledge.

Please visit the Dow Championship website at DowChampionship.com/Volunteer to register. A comprehensive list of volunteer committees with detailed descriptions, along with responses to commonly asked questions, is also accessible on this platform. Prospective volunteers are advised to register promptly, as committee assignments and shift times are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
