Annabelle Pancake named winner of the 2023 Suzann Pettersen Qualifier presented by Frankenmuth Insurance

Pancake earns exemption spot into the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational

Who: Members of the Great Lakes Bay Region and supporters of the LPGA and the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational

What:  Annabelle Pancake earned an exemption spot into the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational after winning the Suzann Pettersen Qualifier presented by Frankenmuth Insurance at The Fortress in Frankenmuth, Michigan on June 7. Pancake will join a field of 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball) with a $2.7 million purse. She will choose her amateur playing partner in the coming weeks for the Dow GLBI taking place July 17 -22, 2023 at Midland Country Club.

Pancake birdied six holes, including four on Fortress’ back nine to win the Suzann Pettersen Qualifier presented by Frankenmuth Insurance. Pancake is currently a member of the Clemson Tigers Women's Golf Team.

 

The qualifier kicked off on June 5 with a practice round and a welcome reception hosted by Dow Sustainability Ambassador and 2023 European Solheim Cup Team Captain Suzann Pettersen. Players across North America competed in the 36-hole single stroke play tournament.
