Q: Is food and beverage available on course?
A: Yes, there will be several full concession stands with food and beverage options including beer and wine. All items will be moderately priced.
Q: How do I get my free tickets?
A: Visit www.DowGLBI.com/Team-Dow and click on the register here link to start the process. All employee tickets must go through this process. After the short survey, the link will take you to the employee ticketing page, please select your tickets and have them emailed to you to print.
Q: I already have week-long tickets because I am volunteering. For Employee Experience Day, can I just request the Eat Great hospitality ticket since I already have free admission?
A: No. Please go ahead and request your 2 complimentary Eat Great Hospitality trail tickets and parking pass from the note sent to employees.
Q: What if I want to purchase additional tickets, in addition to the free Dow employee tickets being offered all week?
A: All purchased tickets can be obtained by accessing the tournament website at www.DowGLBI.com and clicking on the Tickets tab.
Q: What is employee experience day?
A: On Dow’s Employee Experience Day, colleagues in the Great Lakes Bay Region are invited to the course for an upgraded experience with access to the Eat Great Trail ($40 ticket value). Employees may request one ticket for themselves plus one additional ticket for a friend or family member to attend. On Dow’s Employee Experience Day, kids 12 and younger will be admitted to the Eat Great Trail for free. Kids 13 and older will need a ticket to enter the Eat Great Hospitality suites. As part of the program, you will have access to four upgraded seating decks around the course and samples of food, beer and wine.
Q: Can I bring my children to Employee Experience Day?
A: Absolutely!! Each Dow employee/colleague will receive 2 complimentary Eat Great Hospitality Trail tickets. All kids 17 and under receive free general admission with a paid adult ticket. Kids 12 and under eat free in the Eat Great Hospitality Trail decks; kids 13-20 will require a $20 Eat Great ticket.
Q: What if the guest name I registered for the free Dow Employee Experience Day ticket changes?
A: We are doing our best to try to capture the names of guests for all free tickets being given away; however, if your guest name changes, it is not necessary to make that change in the system.
Q: Do I need to take time off to attend employee day or any other day?
A: Attending the DowGLBI should be on your own time and not affect work responsibilities. Attending employee day or any other day should be on your own and is not considered paid work time.
Q: I signed up for Employee Day and printed my tickets. How do I get my free t-shirt?
A: T-shirts will be available closer to the tournament dates. We will be holding “pick up” events in the cafeterias across the area to pass shirts out. Dates and locations will be advertised via Dow Connect.
Q: I am a Dow employee and a Midland Country Club member, what benefits do I get?
A: You can combine your benefits in a sense. For parking, we suggest using your MCC parking badge as this will have access at Midland High School VIP parking. For tickets, you can request the 1 free ticket per day and 2 free tickets on Thursday from the Dow employee ticket site on www.DowGLBI.com and you will also get your 2 member badges for the entire week from MCC.
