How did GLBI reduce waste and recycle plastic from the 2019 event?
Working with KW Plastics, we recycled all red mesh coverings from the stands back into plastic pellets. Evolve Golf then took the pellets and molded the plastic into golf tees. Bull Engineering then created the tees in their shop using Evolve Golf’s equipment. By recycling plastic from
the previous event, we made ~20,000 red GLBI golf tees to be used at this year’s event.
